About the Ming’s Mirror

The Ming’s Mirror Method is a way of balancing clients that I discovered accidentally in a demonstration session in a casework class 10 years ago. Since then, I have been using it in my Authentic Self Series of workshops and in private sessions. This way of balancing is artistic, requiring keen observation and fluent expression skills as well as openness and clarity of interpersonal boundaries on the part of the balance facilitator.
According to the Journal of Natural Science, Biology and Medicine, 2012 Jul-Dec; 3(2):118-124, “Mirror neurons are one of the most important discoveries in the last decade of neuroscience…… These are visual-spatial neurons which respond to actions that we observe in others. They fire in the same way when we actually recreate that action ourselves.”
Due to the existence of mirror neurons, it has been observed that primates and humans are capable of imitation. Every one of us inherently has the capacity to mirror one another at some observable levels. Yet, I believe the human mirror system is one that is mysterious and is yet to be discovered, explored and acknowledged.
The Ming’s Mirror Method is a process that is close to my spirit and my heart. I invite you to explore it with me, through online sessions or even better face-to-face sessions or in classes. You may find some of your own stories that you are not consciously aware of before, and to see and feel it by yourselves about your past experiences and future possibilities.
When we work together, it does not matter if you know muscle checking or basic knowledge in kinesiology. I know from experience that at many levels, we could resonate with each other.
