I love exploring: exploring the essence of life, exploring this world that exists, exploring the inner heart, exploring the connection between humans, exploring what beauty is, exploring what love is…

One of the tests of this “Yin Yang Balances” course is to loudly voice out one’s own dream, and my dream is this: to live my life to the fullest.

After the course, the arrogance commonly found in my original tests decreased gradually. This happens through the process of balancing. As my energies flowed more and more smoothly and became more balanced, I lowered my habitual defensiveness. What seemed to be a course of simple, straightforward and light-hearted games helped me achieve deep integration physically, mentally and spiritually.

I’m grateful that in this course, through the balancing of the body’s meridians and yin and yang energies, my body and mind has begun connecting and unifying. I feel stability, clarity and a deep peace of mind as I have never felt before. After being physically integrated, I feel that I have a very stable connection with myself, just as instructor Mr. Conrad Ho said during the course, “Zi-yi is back.” What a wonderful feeling.

– Ms. Li Zi-yi (Beijing)

The “Yin Yang Balances” course touched on a trait of mine – over-achieving and being overly competitive. In the three days of balancing, I continually faced, explored and experienced this process. When I play games now, I feel more happiness and enjoyment; even if I cannot win, am not good at the game, or even get laughed at, it does not affect the joy and happiness the games bring me.

– Ms. Su Yong-hong (Fuzhou, Fujian)

I was used to using an unyielding force of penetration to solve problems. Now I have learned to use a gentle but firm force of harmony in the face of different situations.

I did not dare to hold fast to my own opinions, and always suppressed myself in exchange for a temporary avoidance of conflict. Now I have learned to see clearly my intentions, and express my ideas in an aware, relaxed and happy process.

I was used to searching for myself in the inner world, and did not accept the outer world in the past. Now I have learned to open my eyes to the wonders of the outer world, and to reevaluate what my real needs are and how much I need.

– Ms. Wang Zhao-mei (Beijing)

1.I had a clearer understanding of “going with the flow,” “accuracy,” “holding fast my own center,” and “E=MC2 ”
2. My body and mind were very relaxed and comfortable. At this time at the end of the year, there were a lot of things at my unit that needed my attention, but for this relaxation and delight, those things became unimportant. The most important thing is to take good care of oneself. As the saying goes, “Sharpening the axe speeds up the chopping of wood,” I believe the nourishment my body, heart and soul received in these few days will help me to more wisely handle problems in my work and life, as well as to better enjoy the beautiful moments of my work and life.
3. My interest in understanding and exploring Mr. Conrad Ho’s knowledge has deepened. I hope Mr. Ho’s knowledge can help more students who need it, and benefit the society!

– Mr. Xie Min-jun (Beijing)

I found myself. In the past I had always ignored these questions: what do I need? How should I live? How can I live better? Now I’ve learned to easily express my feelings, to not make wild guesses, and to not tolerate things I dislike. This course has been a great help to me.

– Ms. Ye Fang-bing (Beijing)

I felt some changes in my body. Parts that were tense and tight began to loosen and soften. I experienced flowing within me, and something solid began to melt. I became more composed, my forces became more subtle, and I felt more peaceful. It is incredible that the course did not simply teach people to think about yin, yang and their relationship conceptually, but allowed them to actually feel it with their bodies. My body has learned something new from the course in these few days, and will surely start to operate in new ways with the things it has learned. I will keep a curious and open attitude in order to observe following effects.

– Ms. Xu Bing (Beijing)

The study in these few days again allowed me to have a deeper understanding of the theories of meridians and yin and yang. As I was learning and balancing, my body had very strong reactions. My emotional perception and my rational perception integrated. Softness and hardness, quality and quantity, righteousness and evil (Editor’s note: this refers to the righteous qi and evil qi in Chinese medicine) were all fully perceived, and, through emotional and rational perception, the insides and outsides of the body were unified and synchronized. My life’s goal became clear and harmonized, and a comprehensible integration of my vigor, qi, and mind came to pass. I learned to efficiently make use of resources and handle things accordingly. I learned to be balanced both when I was still and when I was on the go. I learned to comply with nature and go with the flow on my life’s journey, and make use of nature’s energy to push myself forward, instead of recklessly using my own energy and resources. This way, I can smoothly and comfortably arrive at my goal.

– Mr. Lu Wen-sheng (Beijing)

The biggest reward I got from this “Yin Yang Balances” course is that the feminine part of my body has been awakened. The left side of my body went numb and tingling, as if it was starting up. The right side of my head throbbed; in the past I would knock on the part in pain forcefully, but after balancing, I realized my body needed to be treated gently. I caressed that painful point and the reaction was immediate-it stopped hurting.

The process of balancing yin and yang was very amazing. In the beginning, my throat hurt a lot and sores popped up in my mouth; tests revealed that they were related to the right side of my body. When I was balancing my right leg, a great amount of static charges went through my body, and whoever touched me got shocked. Everyone joked that I was “Lady Static.” Mr. Conrad Ho said this was because a lot of electrical activities were going on within my body. After the balancing process, the static charges and my sore throat disappeared immediately, and my mouth sores were gone within a short time. My whole heart felt tender. In simple words: I faced what I had dared not face, and let go what I had determined not to let go. I’m grateful for Mr. Ho.

– Ms. Zeng Ran (Beijing)

The balancing of meridians seemed relaxed and carefree, but it had led me down a deep and long road. It was deep because it included the experience, recognition and comprehension of my body’s multiple meridians, many body parts, as well as the philosophies of yin/yang and Chinese medicine, not to mention the release and treatment of the body’s inner wounds. It was long because it brought us from unknowing to knowing, from blind to seeing. This was a road that led me to understand my body, heart and spirituality; it passed through the several decades of my life’s journey, and shall accompany me towards a future of striving for balance. This was all achieved under the attentive guidance and nurturing of this teacher.

I walked a far way and today I’m closer to myself; I walked a long way and today I start being with myself. In the process there was pain, confusion, epiphany, joy, and happiness, but everything appeared naturally in safety. It was a wonderful process and experience. I’m grateful for Mr. Conrad Ho’s ingenious design and company, grateful for the camaraderie of all my companions, and grateful for the faraway mountains, blue skies and wintry trees of the Beijing Ming Tombs!
