Touch for Health® Emergency Tool Kit – Don’t Leave Home without It! (2)

“Do your best; accept what are unreeled; live in the moment……” Life and death is an unknown variable, as was so elegantly described in the story below. It was the 5th day of our tour to Europe. We were on our way from Spain to Portugal when one of my friends vomited. Nearly 180 cm in height, this man was shivering, semi-conscious and murmuring, “It was cold, so cold!”.

Rubbing medicinal oil had no effect. I could see his fists tight, arms crossed on the chest and constantly shivering. In spite of that, I continued to rub the oil on the person, on the neuro-lymphatic points of the Central and Governing meridians in Touch for Health®. The muscles on his shoulders, chest, neck and back were all nearly too stiff for anyone to massage. Another participant put his fingers on the forehead to do his Emotional Stress Release points and Auricular Exercise (Thinking Cap). After several minutes, no progress. He was talking nonsense in a quivering voice, eyes out of focus, drifting in and out of conscious, non-responsive to patting and calling. His conditions were really bad, and the ambulance was still nowhere to be found.

I changed to pinching the spot between his upper lip and his nose with my nails. After a while, thank God! He was more awake, but still in bad shape. I was in such a limited space in a coach, and the person was stiff as a rock. What to do next? Hm……He needed external stimulation to help his internal circulation to keep him awake. I would massage his meridians on his arms, rubbing deeply and patting lightly. Good! His eyes were opened wider. Already 10 minutes! Where was the ambulance?

Just did whatever that came to mind. I repeatedly rubbed his neurolymphatic points; did meridian massages, Tibetan 8s, Thinking Caps and Emotional Stress Release points. The person was out of coma and an ambulance had sent him to hospital. However, we had to wait for the doctor to come. In that 45 minutes, I continued to do my Touch for Health® techniques on him.

He had a fever. His body was really hot, but the right leg was cold. When I did Tibetan 8s on his foot, I could feel some stuckness. The energy flow stopped here. Well! Had patience, listened to the body’s needs and let it have time to respond to the Tibetan 8s. Patience, focus and blessings had eroded the block away, and energy flowed eventually. Just at that time, the doctor came. Great! He was fully awake and could get off bed with a little help.

I had stayed calm, lived in the moment, did whatever could be noticed, done and applied under limited conditions. One needed to learn, treasuring what was in front of you.

It was totally out of my expectation that I had used many Touch for Health® skills in this trip to help others and myself in emergency situations. I really felt that I was blessed. I was grateful from deep in my heart.
