The Power of Touch for Health (2)

The Power of Touch for Health (2)

Ah Zhu, my sister¡¦s eldest daughter, is 13 years old this year. Ever since she was a young child, her constipation has been a headache for the whole family. Since she was a child, her parents tried many methods and tried communicating with her in every way ¡V from coaxing, advising to blaming ¡V but with minimal results. Ah Zhu only would go to stool once every few days and sometimes even once every week. Whenever she did stool, there would be so much that it almost plugged the toilet! It was very alarming to her family.

A few years ago, Ah Zhu¡¦s family had migrated to Australia. The health care system there is not the same as the one in China. Patients would first visit a family doctor. Then they may then be referred to see a specialist. The specialist may then decide to refer the patient to the hospital. So, when she first got to Australia, Ah Zhu went to see a family doctor, who prescribed laxatives and advised her to drink more water. Sometimes, she would be advised to drink honey or to eat prunes. She even bought a very popular herbal tea for detoxification, but the effects of all these methods were minimal.

For the last few years, Ah Zhu¡¦s constipation problem remained the same. Acnes and pimples started to grow on her forehead. Her skin along her spine and at her back had become coarse like sand paper. Her skins were like the surface of the moon ¡V not at all like those of a 13-year-old girl.

In December last year, Ah Zhu went back to Guangzhou, China to attend a winter camp. Ah Zhu promised to let her Uncle do some Touch for Health balances for her. She did a few balances including one that was directly related to her constipation. Then, on January 25, before the Chinese New Year, she and her mother went back to Australia.

Last week, when I talked to my sister on the phone, my sister said she must talk to me about something that she had forgotten to tell me last few times we talked. That was, from about February onwards, Ah Zhu had been going to the toilet EVERYDAY! No need to say, their family were all very happy about that.
