Touch for Health® as My First Aid Kit in my Travel (1st story of 2)

I went to Spain and Portugal for travel during the summer holiday. I didn’t expect that I would use Touch for Health® three times as my first aid tool in emergency situations.

The temperature was as high as 45-48 degrees Celsius during the second day of travel. We followed the tour guide from one scenic spot to another. Everywhere we went, it felt just like a huge oven. One of the women in the group looked exhausted and weak. When she was watching a bull fight, her thighs suddenly began to shake. She sweated, felt dizzy and very hot. She was checked by emergency para-medics and found nothing was wrong with her. When she went back to the hotel, her whole body was shaking and shivering. I talked to her and understood that the bull fight was too exciting for her and she felt afraid. From a scale of 0-10, with 0 being very calm and 10 being very afraid, she was at the level of 8. After setting a goal, we used Touch for Health® “Balance as You Go”. At first she felt very fragile. Many of the muscles related to the 14 meridians such as Central Meridian, Governing meridian, Stomach, Spleen, Heart, Small Intestine were tested unlocked. Towards the end of the balance, she was able to change from a lying down position to a standing up position. She felt much stronger and her feeling of being afraid dropped from 8 to 2. Her paleness changed to slight red, and she looked much more energized and alert. She then fell asleep with comfort and ease.

On the evening of the forth day, my right shoulder gradually felt more painful during my watching the opera Flamingo. At first, I thought I was just tired, but strangely, the pain gradually went up to 9. (10 being the most painful from a scale of 0-10). I didn’t want to leave as it would disturb others. I could only sit there and “imagine” doing balances. I did some Touch for Health® “Switching On” exercises, and then some “Figure 8s”. The pain slightly went down to about 5. But very soon, it went up to 9 again. What to do? I did the Emotional Stress Release Points, but it didn’t help much. At that point, it seemed nothing could help.

A new idea came to me: maybe I would use “Touch for Health® Meridian Massage”. I imagined activating my meridians. After the first round, the pain was much relieved! Great! And then after the second round, the pain was gone! I felt so happy. However, I was happy too early. When I woke up the next morning, the pain was up to 9 again. Then I started to wonder – what was really happening to my right shoulder?

Then, I recalled that yesterday, when I was walking on the street, someone suddenly pushed me at the back with force. Automatically, I swung my right shoulder forward so that I could hold my backpack to the front. At that point, I already realized that the zipper of my backpack was opened, and a small sack inside was lost. The “thief” then stood right in front of me, and said he just picked up that sack from the floor, and gave it back to me.

Because I didn’t loose anything, I almost forgotten about this incident. But my body was a faithful servant. My right shoulder, the traumatized area, came out to talk to me over and over again with the pain as the message to remind me that I’d better do something about it. With that learning and realization, I did a Touch for Health® 14 muscle “Balance as You Go”. The alarm was answered. I didn’t feel the pain again. I could enjoy the rest of the trip.
