Completion of the Five Animal Play Metaphor Balance Corporate Training in Shenzhen

Amy Choi, Hong Kong, China, 17 May 2015

Subsequent to the Five Animal Metaphor Balance for senior management of the Tianjin China National Petroleum Corporation last year, Amy Choi again provided training for more than 20 prospering individuals from Shenzhen, Dongguan and Hong Kong. They were company owners, professionals, self-employed entrepreneurs and semi-retirees of various industry.

Within three days, the participants set goals and developed their ability to notice through seven balances and10 movements of Health Qigong – Five Animal Play. They stepped outside the usual constraint of rational thinking to learn how to face work and life comfortably by balancing mind and body, living out the playful heart.

An owner of a smart-watch company set the goal as reforming his company into one with sustainable development. He used tiger’s balance to enable himself to be more powerful and have better leadership in executing his mission. Another senior management used deer’s gentleness to enable herself to be calmer in communicating with his staff. A top management participant used the firmness and groundedness of bear to balance his boastfulness and vanity. She hoped that she would become more humble and reserved in front of others. After balancing, her neck pain had disappeared completely. An accountant who had mixed feeling of love and hate towards her clients used the light-heartedness and agility of monkey to enable herself to become relaxed and calm when facing clients. There was also a participant who used the grace of birds to forget some unforgettable lingering memories and trouble. During the last balance, everyone experienced living out the playful heart through Five Animal Play.

In the concluding session, the participants shared that balancing through Qigong movements was a fast and direct method. The effect was immediate. They learnt from the animals to live in the present and be straight forward. Simple is beautiful.

Thank you for the arrangement by Shenzhen Boshang Institute of Management Science. Also thank you for the introduction by Zheng Haiying, the owner of Shenzhen Foresight Management & Consulting and a Licensed Brain Gym instructor.

It was a pleasure to meet new friends on this occasion. Wish every participant would keep on balancing, practicing movements, and living out the playful heart!
