Go with the Flow in the Educational Model

There are mainly two types of approaches to dealing with matters. The first type is “going against the flow”: if you cannot stand coldness, I will give you warmth; and if you are having fever, I will give you antipyretics.
Using external help to relieve discomfort is what usually happens in the therapeutic model. It is an effective method, but would have problems if over-used. When the body (especially the part that is diagnosed to have an issue) has extended support from external agents, that part of the body does not need to take care of the issue itself. In this way, it cannot gain any experience. When the same situation occurs again, it will still need to get external help. That is exactly what is happening when modern people keep sanitising their environment. Their immune system does not get the necessary training, thus will become weaker and weaker gradually, and therefore will “need” disinfectant more and more.
Another type of method is “go with the flow”: if you cannot stand coldness, I will allow time for you to face it within your tolerance range, to learn to cope with it. You try various methods to explore, experiment and eventually formulate your personalized ways to address the issue. Given sufficient occurrences and adequate time, you will gradually learn and master it, attain precision, and eventually become an expert in dealing with that particular situation. In the educational model, we choose to go with the flow.
In the balance of the sense of temperatures designed by myself, I will give coldness to those who cannot stand coldness. But I have to emphasize that this is done within the tolerance range of that particular person, in order not to create further stress. This is not the kind of hellish training in which you are forced to practise harder and harder till you meet the required standard. Escalate the rigor of the training to reach the target at all costs. I will administer it slowly within the tolerance range to allow the body to learn at its own pace without stress.
When someone really does not know how to cope in a real crisis situation, we will also use the therapeutic model to help him. The therapeutic method has its value. Just that we should treat symptoms in urgent situations, and heal the root cause when there is time. In other words, do the right thing at the right time.
