Touch for Health Released Pain of Spinal Disc Herniation

This is a true story that spanned over some years. A female patient (a nun) came to my clinic to seek for treatment. Because of a herniated spinal disc, her waist hurt constantly. Neither the treatment of any doctor from the United States and all over the world, nor any medicine, proved effective. Even treatment at my clinic provided less-than-ideal results (her pain only went from extreme to tolerable, and x-rays and MRI showed that hers was a structural problem that required emergency surgery).

This nun came to adjust her spine through the referral of a certain naturopathic physician. Because of her identity, she had tens of thousands of believers in the United States and Asia. For the pain of her body, she visited a lot of doctors who practiced mainstream Western medicine, but all of them concluded that she must go through surgery. As she wished to cure her pain with other methods that would not damage her body, a lot of believers suggested their countries’ “traditional therapies”.

One of the therapies she shared was quite special. She was asked to go into a room; after she lay down on her stomach, a person came in and massaged her body slightly, then left the room. A few minutes later, he came in and “poked” her body once, then left. Another few minutes passed, and he came in again and “poked” her once more, then left again… this process repeated several times. Afterwards, the nun said that she still felt painful. However, the person who treated her told her, “I am not trying to ‘cure’ you. I am reminding your body, ‘awakening’ and activating its self-healing power. I’m telling your heart why your body is hurting so much.”

Though her pain remained, as she was a Buddhist nun, she knew very well that the best medicine was the most natural medicine, which did not rely on drugs and other intrusive methods. This was the reason why many Buddhist institutes in the United States, Taiwan and Malaysia offered naturopathy studies, and used a lot of ways so that believers and students could take good care of their own bodies. Though the symptoms and pain of her body could be treated with Western medicine, she insisted on bearing the pain.

In the process of her visits to my clinic, I introduced Touch for Health’s method of self-balance to her. After several times, she realized that pain could actually be controlled. She also found out that the brain, muscles, nutrition, emotions, organs such as the spine, as well as one’s psychology, could be shown through muscle testing. Immediately, she asked her daughter, who was accompanying her, to sign up for courses once they went back to the States.

Eight months later, this nun came to me again and told me that her daughter completed a 4-leveled course with Matthew Thie in the States. One time, when her waist started hurting again, she asked her daughter to help; her daughter started drawing Figure 8s behind her, near where she was hurting. A few minutes later, the pain was completely gone. It was more effective than taking medicine and “absolutely miraculous.” From then on, she asked her daughter to treat her all the time. When balancing, they did it only “partially”, and like in my clinic, they only used the “technique” but not the procedure, yet the result was already very good. After several times, she felt that it was not as effective, and asked her daughter if there were other ways? This time, her daughter started tracing her meridians, and within several minutes, the pain was gone again. As such, she came back to tell me that she had totally accepted this method of “energy” to handle her own body.

Even though it was not maintained for a long period of time (as Amy Choi shared with me later that perhaps it was because the complete balancing procedures had not been used), the nun was already surprised by and satisfied with the feeling of being “painless”. She also mentioned that she must promote this technique, so that more believers could come to know that there is such a wonderful method in this world.
