The Five-Animal Play has a long history, and has endured thousands of years, confirming its practicality and effectiveness. Miss Amy Choi cleverly applies it to Qinesiology, making its effect even more impressive.
People know the characteristics and traits of these five animals well; it is therefore easy to imitate these movements, in order for intention to nurture Qi, and Qi to nurture the mind. The ten movements greatly stimulate the flow of Qi and blood along the related meridians; combined with Touch for Heatlh’s muscle testing, the body’s noticing ability increases and one is able to evaluate one’s condition even more clearly.

The metaphor is a great tool that can visually describe and express one’s emotional condition, proprioception, values and visions. With this tool, the outstanding qualities of the five animals can smoothly connect with the body, emotion and vision we want. Then, by following the balancing steps, one’s condition can be integrated gradually.
Throughout the course, Miss Choi used her special awareness towards the body and consciousness to perceive the points where energies were stuck for the person balanced in each case, as well as the entire field. With wise words that were profound and to the point, and with special body movements, the person balanced was encouraged to jump out of the original framework from different perspectives. He or she would gain new experiences and insights and have their confusion lifted, and could build a new state of consciousness.

During the course, through balancing movements, I realized that I lacked a sense of satisfaction, as well as the ability to apply what I had learned and the ability to move forward and backward at will. Once I confirmed my goal, I was able to experience, with a united body and mind, the relaxedness of my body, the ease of my emotions and my positive condition, all brought about by these movements. I received enlightenment from the process of life¡K¡K and had a deeper understanding regarding Qinesiology: uniting form, intention, Qi and mind through the Five Animals, and learn a new way towards an all-rounded condition.
