The Power of Touch For Health

I heard about Touch For Health the first time when I was attending an NLP course in 2005 with Mr. Li Zhongying. At that time, I was very much surprised with the techniques. Then in the following two years, I was so busy with my other things in life that I had totally forgotten about it.

In September 2007, Touch For Health went back into my life by chance when my husband went to Nanjing to attend the Touch For Health Synthesis Workshop. When he finished the first phrase of the training and came back home, he asked me to be his guinea pig. He volunteered to do a balance for me to alleviate my menstrual pain, which has been bugging me for years.

Let me tell you more about my menstrual pain. Menstrual pain has been with me for 21 years ever since I had menstruation at 12 years old. Every time duration menstruation, I was in so much pain during the first three days that I had to I rolled on my bed. I felt like my belly was being cut, and my waist carrying heavy loads. When it was severe, I would even vomit and became dizzy. At that moment I would think, “My God! When will these painful days end?”

Because of this experience, I felt very negative towards my own body, and I didn’t like the fact that I was a female. Since I was 15, I had been taking pain-killers to suppress the pain. At the beginning, one pill was enough to suppress the pain, and then two, three and four. When one brand didn’t work anyone, I just switched to another brand. Long-term massive doses of pain-killers have caused me suffering from liver damages. I am now a patient carrying hepatitis B virus.

I did not dare to take any medicine to suppress the pain from the beginning of last year. Every time the pain tortured me, I could just bear, and the pain was indescribable.

Thus, I immediately agreed to whatever my husband would do to me when I heard my husband’s request. I didn’t care if it he had just studied it for 8 days or how much he had learnt. I just hoped it will alleviate the pain. My husband asked me to set a goal for this balance. I thought for a little while and set the goal as “I have a relaxed and comfortable menstrual period.”

It toke my husband about 20 minutes to do a 14 muscle balance for me.

“So, it’s done?” I asked surprisingly.

“You think this is too simple?” He replied with a question.

Yes, I thought what he had done was too simple. Throughout the process, he just pressed on my arms, my legs, and rubbed on my spine softly.

Because he was so confident, I did not ask him any question any more. I held the goal which I set before we started firmly: “I have a relaxed and comfortable menstrual period.”

Three days after the balance, menstruation came. On day one, there was a little soreness, but not pain. On day two, which used to be the most painful day, it was still a bit sore. On day three, the soreness was completely gone! I was so excited, so was my husband. Despite the fact I was a guinea pig, the experiment worked. And this definitely this will become one of the stories for my husband to show off.

Oh, it was a “win-win-win” situation.

Since September last year, menstruation was not a burden to my body anymore. As a result, I regained a more positive attitude towards life. I am now able to handle matters with more ease; and people are more willing to come closer to me.

I will continue to ask my husband to do more Touch For Health balances for me.
