Following the Five-Animal Play Metaphor Balances – Living with a Playful Heart and Yi Jin Jing Metaphor Balances – To Live Out the Greatest Me, the third workshop of the Qigong Movement Balancing Series Ma Wang Dui Qigong Metaphor Balances – To Live A Flowing Life was offered for the first time in Germany on January 22 to 24, 2016. Seventeen adult participants and a 3-year-old child attended. The participants conducted 14 balances during the three days. Through practicing the 14 beautiful movement-sets of Health Qigong – Ma Wang Dui Dao Yin Exercises corresponding to 14 meridians, they have also facilitated their channels, opened up their acu-points, and deliberated on the metaphors. These helped them break through their physical boundaries and conceptual frameworks for relaxingly living a flowing life.

Among the demonstration cases, there were great varieties of issues, including infertility, relationship problems with in-laws or partners, mistrust towards others, sense of insecurity, hoping to forgo the past and turn a new page in life, aspiring for greater passion in life, etc.

It was the sixth workshop under the Qigong Movement Balance Series offered in Germany ¡V three held in the south and three in the north. As it is the case in Japan, the request for offering instructor training starts to emerge from the participants.

The developments of Qinesiology Qigong Movement Balance Series over all these years owe a lot to the support of the sponsors and participants, the unique framework proposed by the series’ co-developer Conrad Ho, as well as the many years’ encouragement and instruction of my Health Qigong coach Xu Yuanbi. My heartfelt gratitude to them all.

Originated in China, Health Qigong belongs to the world. Its long term practice can help one enhance the three aspects of Jing, Qi, Shen (matter, energy, information). Qinesiology further develops these traditional and rich movements for daily application, and uses metaphor balances to improve one’s physical and psychological health with imminent effect. The innovative method has helped promote the traditional Qigong of China to more people, and advance the application and teaching of traditional Qigong to a new stage.
